No Carb Margarita (on the Rocks)

How to make a No Carb Margarita (on the Rocks):

Take an empty Collins Glass (Or Specialty/Margarita Glass) and rub a Lime around the rim of the glass. Next, dip the rim of the glass in a plate with salt on it (Margarita Salt is recommended). Carefully fill the glass with ice, leaving approximately 1/2 inch empty at the top of the glass.

Next, make no carb sour mix by taking a gallon jug of distilled water and pouring out approximately 1/3 of the jug of water. To the jug, add 4 packets of Crystal Light lemonade and approximatley 1/2 of a bottle of Key West Lime Juice. Shake really, really well.

In a mixing tin with ice, pour 2 oz Tequila and 2 1/2 oz of the Crystal Light mix. Shake. Strain into iced Collins (or Margarita) glass with salted rim. Garnish with a Lime Wedge. Serve.

Alternate way to make this drink:

In an iced collins glass, pour 2 oz of Tequila. Fill the remainder of the glass with the no carb sour mix (see directions above). Pour the contents of the collins glass into a mixing tin. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of the collins glass, salt the rim, and fill the glass with ice. Strain the contents of the mixing tin into the collins glass. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
